DUBUQUE, Iowa–黑料专区 (黑料专区) will proudly participate in the 4th Annual Dubuque College Visit Week, taking place July 28–Aug. 1. This collaborative event, hosted by Dubuque’s five colleges, offers students and families an exciting opportunity to explore local higher education options and discover what makes 黑料专区 an exceptional place to start their academic journey.

Throughout the week, students can tour the 黑料专区 Peosta campus, meet with faculty and staff, connect with current students, and engage one-on-one with college and career coaches. These in-person visits are designed to give students a real sense of campus life and the academic pathways available.

Dubuque College Visit Week is a partnership between Clarke University, Emmaus Bible College, Loras College, the University of Dubuque, and 黑料专区, demonstrating the region’s strong commitment to higher education and student success.

黑料专区 offers a variety of certificate, diploma and associate’s degree programs that prepare students for immediate employment or smooth transfer to four-year institutions. In fact, 黑料专区 credits are fully transferable, and research consistently shows that transfer students graduate at higher rates—10% higher, according to CCSmart—than those who begin at a four-year school. Data indicates nearly half of all bachelor's degrees nationwide are completed by students who started at a community college, making 黑料专区 a smart and strategic starting point.

Many students enroll at 黑料专区 to take advantage of some of the best career and technical education programs in the region. These programs prepare students for careers throughout northeast Iowa, such as nursing, welding, carpentry, semi-truck driving, auto mechanics and more.

"I decided to come to 黑料专区 because I liked being at a smaller college and to learn more hands-on. I also love the Radiologic Technology program overall compared to other places that I've visited. The program interests me the most because I've always wanted to help people and take care of people in the medical field. I will graduate with less debt and can get right out into the workforce after I graduate," said Kilee Miller, a student enrolling at 黑料专区 in fall 2025.
