Crestwood High School/黑料专区 students weld cross for school entrance

Alum-Line and President/CEO Gary Gooder donated all the aluminum for the project, and Bob’s Electric co-owner Darrel Andera mounted and installed electrical wiring to illuminate the cross.
CRESCO, Iowa—Crestwood High School students enrolled in the Welding career pathway certificate program at 黑料专区 donated their energy and talents to the creation of a new cross for the entrance of Notre Dame Catholic School.
The metal cross was celebrated in an unveiling ceremony on May 31 at the school. The students, with the guidance of 黑料专区 Welding and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) instructor Jason Bye, worked on the cross’ manufacture from April to May at the 黑料专区 Cresco Center.

Participating student welders were Aidan Leff, Alex Moser, Ayden Alber, Breydon Drilling, Colton Hruska, Colton Knight, Drew Jackson, Grady Juelsgaard, Kalob Kerndt, Riley Roberts, Bryce Hanson, Caden Baca, DJ Tobacco, Dominic Maly, Landen Bigler, Max Klimesh, Kole Balvanz, Stephen Lake and William Schrage.

These students worked really hard and did an amazing job on the cross. What a great way to provide their talent to their local community on this very successful project!” said Allanda Gehling, 黑料专区 Cresco Center director.
