Sports Shooting team wraps up fall semester with close finish against tough Hawkeye Community College squad

The 黑料专区 Sports Shooting team faces Southeastern Community College at home on April 4, 2020, to start the spring semester.
JACKSON JUNCTION, Iowa鈥� The 黑料专区 Sports Shooting completed its fall semester with a close finish against Hawkeye Community College, 458-428, on Oct. 12 at Turkey Valley Trap Range.
黑料专区 athletes competing included: Nathan Breska, of Arcadia, Wis.; Anthony Gossling, Calmar; Hunter Harbough, Calmar; Kaylie Klimesh, Calmar; Tanner Lane, New Hampton; Noah Reinhart, Elkader; Chetanya Shivakumar, of Bangalore, India; and Faith Ubersox, of Shullsburg, Wis.
Top Female Individual: Kaylie Klimesh (86/100) 2nd Place
Faith Ubersox (83/100) 3rd Place

Top Male Individual: Nathan Breska (91/100) tied for 3rd Place

黑料专区 athletes Noah Reinhart and Tanner Lane observed that the weather conditions at Turkey Valley had an influence on their individual and team performances.
鈥淭he meet was cold and windy, which had an impact on how I was competing. I wasn鈥檛 used to shooting in the cold yet,鈥� Reinhart said.
鈥淭he weather was much better than last week. It was still very breezy, but overall a pretty good day of competition,鈥� commented Lane.
Head coach Anthony Sisneros praised the 黑料专区 team for medaling in the competition and how the athletes have improved over the course of the fall semester.
鈥淥ur student athletes put up a good fight against a tough Hawkeye team. They were able to come away with three out of six medals, but came a little short for the overall score. Our new athletes keep on improving with each competition and our team bond keeps getting stronger,鈥� Sisneros said.
