黑料专区 Sports Shooting team starts fall season with a win

黑料专区 DISTRICT鈥擳he 黑料专区 Sports Shooting team started its first competitive meet of the fall season with a win over the Corridor Clay Crushers at the Dual Conference Meet on Sept. 15 in Turkey Valley. The 黑料专区 team scored 471 points to the Clay Crushers鈥� 461.
At the Dual Conference Meet in American Trap, 16 yards, 黑料专区 athletes scored the following as individuals (out of 100):
- Landon Goza, of Ft. Atkinson, Iowa, 98, earning 2nd Place Medal Men鈥檚
- Christian Schwickerath, of New Hampton, Iowa, 98 earning 3rd Place medal Men鈥檚
- Bradley Kriener, of Ft. Atkinson, 95
- Shaylee Brincks, Waucoma, Iowa, 92 and captured 1st Place Medal Women鈥檚
- Luke Massman, of Ossian, Iowa, 88
- Andrew Wagner, of Calmar, Iowa, 86
- Journey Howe, Lawler, Iowa, 84
- Adam Reinertson, of Fayette, Iowa, 80
- Hannah Evert, of Mazomanie, Wis., 75
- Carter Haag, of Lewiston, Minn., 64
鈥淚t was a fun day, and for my first collegiate meet, a good result. I鈥檓 looking forward to the rest of the season,鈥� said first-year student athlete Andrew Wagner.
Anthony Sisneros, 黑料专区 Sports Shooting team coach, was impressed with the athletes鈥� start to the season and credited their team effort. 鈥淔rom top to bottom, all of our shooters did a great job. The returning athletes showed great leadership, and the new athletes are a great addition. We strive for teamwork and individual improvement, and the scores reflected this in our outcome,鈥� Sisneros said. 鈥淚t was good to get the win as a team. The 471 team score is a great first meet score and is the best score we have had since I have been here. In fact, 471 might be a record for us.鈥�
The conference format changed this year and teams will compete in dual meets with one other team each meet until the conference championship meet at the end of the spring. The 黑料专区 team will host another home meet this fall and one in the spring. Spectators are invited and there is no cost to attend.
